The Publican

The Publican is the only pub in Windsor with a full bar and darn good food. While you can find restaurants in Windsor that serve drinks, you won’t find another pub with great food. The Publican’s general manager, Barry “Bear” Riggins has been tending bar for 36+ years and his core staff has been at this location for 10+ years. 

The Publican is a short walk from the Windsor Town Green, so whenever you are in the mood for a pint of Guinness, delicious Pub Fare and a spot to watch the game or relax with friends, The Publican is here for all your pub needs.

The Publican, more affectionately referred to as the pub, is a great place for so many things. The drinks are always poured nice and strong and they carry a variety of beers and spirits with rotating specials. Their new menu includes not just your standard pub grub but some awesome salads, sandwiches, and of course corned beef. The best part about this place is definitely the people. The staff and the regular patrons seem to truly care about creating a neighborhood atmosphere. It's likely that you will leave this pub having made a new friend. My family and I will keep coming back for sure.

Food was great, the atmosphere is fun. There is some outdoor seating which is dog friendly. We had brunch. All 3 of us had something different and we were all very happy with our dishes. The brunch also offers $5 mimosas and bloody Mary's.
